Clubs & Activities

After School Clubs

Clubs are often based on student interest and change yearly.  Students are invited to request and organize after-school clubs and meet-ups. Parent input is welcome, as well.

Current choices include: Choir, flute, strings, basketball, chess, future problem solvers, lifelong learning - larping, coding; No Place for Hate, Battle of the Books.

 

GAME CLUB

We are playing games such as Magic, Pokemon, and any other card or board games.
Grades 3 through 8th. 

 

Hawks Hoops YMCA Fall Season

We are in the process of organizing Horizons basketball teams for the upcoming fall Jr. Buffs program through the YMCA (starting week of 10/21). They offer leagues for kids ages 5-14 so we are hoping again to  put teams together for each age level (5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14). In order to make that happen we're looking for...

  • Parents that are interested in volunteering to coach and help manage teams (roughly 3 hour commitment weekly for 6 weeks)

  • Kids that want to play basketball

If you are interested in having your child participate, please complete the following interest form. This will help us to make sure that your child gets matched with a Horizons team/coach and that you receive follow up communication.

We will offer fun-filled musical groups for grades 3-8 students.

Come join the HORIZONS INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC!  
Tuesdays after school in the Hub / Music Room
