Special Programs
Green Star School
Horizons K-8 is proud to be a designated Green Star School. Partnering with Eco-Cycle and other schools across Boulder County, we're working toward Zero Waste through expanded recycling, composting, and waste-reduction activities.
You'll notice recycling and composting bins in your child's classroom, and we're extending these efforts to school events with compostable paper goods and waste sorting. We encourage you to use this program as a starting point for conversations about recycling at home.
