3/4 Grades
At Our Level
This age group can be characterized by the use of reasoning, imagination, and logic. Children in grades 3/4 have an intense thirst for knowledge and thrive on learning about the world and their place in it.
They are eager to discover the interconnectedness of all things, people, and places as they explore the past, the present, and the future. Their imaginations can touch the farthest reaches of the universe. These years provide a bridge from concrete to more abstract thinking. As teachers, we encourage the development of intellectual and physical independence. It is a time to inspire children to think and question as they explore their place in the world. Children at this age are developing a strong sense of justice, fairness, and morality. Therefore, they need a variety of positive role models. In response to our students social, emotional, and intellectual needs, the team creates learning environments to meet these needs.
