Board Committees
Finance Review Committee (FRC): This committee meets monthly to review the schools financials. The Head of School, Parent Board Treasure, accounting staff monitor the current and projected budgets. Tracking and making recommendations to the Board, as needed to keep the budget in line. If you are interested or have a skill to share in the financial upkeep of our school, please contact the Principal.
Development Committee: This is the Fundraising and Marketing of Horizons. Community Members work with administration to help build a fundraising/marketing campaign to help fill the funding gap that Charter Schools face, help raise money for all of the extra programming that is unique to Horizons. (i.e. Outdoor Ed, Winter sports, individualized learning support systems, etc) We are in the process of looking at Fundraising for Horizons in a post pandemic climate.
