Support Horizons K-8: Invest in Our Students’ Future
At Horizons K-8, we believe in a progressive, relationship-based approach to education—one that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and individualized learning. As a charter school within the Boulder Valley School District, we operate differently than neighborhood schools, covering essential costs before funding our innovative programs. This creates an annual shortfall, and that’s where our incredible community comes in.
Hawk Bucks: Bridging the Gap for Our Students
Our **Hawk Bucks** campaign is the heartbeat of our school’s funding, ensuring we can continue offering small class sizes, hands-on learning experiences, and dedicated paraprofessionals in nearly every classroom. State funding simply doesn’t cover the full cost of the exceptional education we provide. Your donation (not a fee) is a powerful statement that you believe in putting students first and keeping our progressive model thriving.
Our Goal: 100% Family Participation
We’re asking every Horizons family to contribute—at any level—so that **ALL** students can benefit from the unique opportunities our school offers. Your support directly impacts every classroom, every student, and the future of our school community.
Join us in making Horizons K-8 a model of what public education can and should be. Every gift counts, and every student benefits. Thank you for being part of our mission!
